Relevant Example
SSG worked with the City of Toronto to develop its climate action strategy with a target of net-zero emissions by 2030. It is one of the most ambitious municipal climate action plans in North America. SSG’s analysis found that not only is pursuing net zero by 2040 technically feasible, it costs less, results in fewer emissions overall, and provides health and well-being benefits to residents sooner than pursuing net zero by 2050.
