Pour les \u00c9tats am\u00e9ricains, l\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable est-elle une solution viable pour atteindre les cibles de r\u00e9duction de GES ? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Absolument, mais c\u2019est compliqu\u00e9. Lorsque j\u2019ai pris part \u00e0 des recherches portant sur cette question, j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert qu\u2019une int\u00e9gration de masse de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire dans tout le r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique permettrait \u00e0 certains \u00c9tats d\u2019atteindre leurs cibles de r\u00e9duction des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/1996-1073\/17\/7\/1611\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u2019\u00e9tude, publi\u00e9e r\u00e9cemment dans la revue <\/a><em>Energies<\/em>, a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que la Californie, l\u2019Arizona, le Nouveau-Mexique et une partie du Nevada peuvent atteindre leurs cibles en passant exclusivement au solaire. Dans les r\u00e9gions moins ensoleill\u00e9es, comme New York et les six \u00c9tats de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire a un effet moindre sur les \u00e9missions. Nous avons ensuite quantifi\u00e9 les r\u00e9ductions potentielles des \u00e9missions de carbone apr\u00e8s l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019installations solaires dans ces r\u00e9gions, puis nous avons analys\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents degr\u00e9s d\u2019adoption permettant l\u2019atteinte des objectifs de r\u00e9duction.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons constat\u00e9 que l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire peut jouer un r\u00f4le majeur dans la d\u00e9carbonation des \u00c9tats ensoleill\u00e9s comme la Californie, l\u2019Arizona, le Nouveau-Mexique et le Nevada. Pour tirer parti de cette source d\u2019\u00e9nergie, les d\u00e9cisionnaires peuvent am\u00e9liorer les initiatives ax\u00e9es sur le solaire et les inclure dans les strat\u00e9gies \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques des \u00c9tats. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<div  class=\"ssg-spacer h-16 xl:h-24 \"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group ssg-blog-columns-callout is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns gap-20 xl:gap-8 is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column w-full xl:w-1\/2 p-0 is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>La Californie a pu stimuler l\u2019adoption du solaire au moyen d\u2019incitatifs financiers, comme des cr\u00e9dits d\u2019imp\u00f4t, des remises et des politiques de mesurage net, afin de rendre les toits solaires plus attrayants et abordables pour les immeubles r\u00e9sidentiels, commerciaux et industriels. Les entit\u00e9s locales et \u00e9tatiques de l\u2019Arizona, du Nouveau-Mexique et du Nevada pourraient s\u2019inspirer de la Californie et instaurer des politiques similaires dans le but d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l\u2019atteinte des cibles de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions. Toutefois, ces \u00c9tats ne devraient pas miser seulement sur le solaire, sans quoi ils risquent de conna\u00eetre des p\u00e9nuries d\u2019\u00e9nergie durant des p\u00e9riodes moins ensoleill\u00e9es. Pour b\u00e2tir un r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique fiable et r\u00e9silient, il faut des politiques qui favorisent une combinaison \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e de ressources renouvelables, parall\u00e8lement au stockage d\u2019\u00e9nergie.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les r\u00e9gions nuageuses comme New York et la Nouvelle-Angleterre, l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire peut tout de m\u00eame faire partie int\u00e9grante de la strat\u00e9gie compl\u00e8te visant \u00e0 diversifier les sources d\u2019\u00e9nergie et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9silience du r\u00e9seau. Dans ces \u00c9tats, les petites installations d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es de syst\u00e8mes solaires, comme les projets solaires communautaires, permettent \u00e0 ce type d\u2019\u00e9nergie de contribuer efficacement \u00e0 l\u2019approvisionnement, m\u00eame dans des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques variables. Pour contrer cette pollution, on se penche de plus en plus sur l\u2019exploration et l\u2019\u00e9laboration d\u2019alternatives d\u2019\u00e9nergie propre pour all\u00e9ger les dommages \u00e0 l\u2019environnement caus\u00e9s par les combustibles fossiles et r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques grandissants. L\u2019analyse pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e porte sur des sc\u00e9narios de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de carbone d\u2019une int\u00e9gration de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire \u00e0 des r\u00e9seaux am\u00e9ricains particuliers. Elle tient compte des r\u00e9seaux \u00e9lectriques de la Californie, de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, de New York et du Sud-Ouest, et puise dans les ensembles de donn\u00e9es de l\u2019Agence d\u2019information sur l\u2019\u00e9nergie des \u00c9tats-Unis et du National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019Agence d\u2019information sur l\u2019\u00e9nergie comprennent des renseignements sur la production nette d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie selon chaque source et les \u00e9missions de carbone selon le type de carburant, alors que l\u2019ensemble de donn\u00e9es du NREL fournit des projections horaires pour 6000 installations photovolta\u00efques hypoth\u00e9tiques et des donn\u00e9es d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur la production d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire aux cinq minutes sur un an.
